Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of CheeHuu (“CheeHuu,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) — including the CheeHuu mobile app, the charter dashboard at dashboard.cheehuu.com, the business portal at dashboard.cheehuu.com/business, and the cheehuu.com website (together, the “Services”). By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.

The Services

CheeHuu lets charter companies build and share interactive maps (zones, routes, spots, and channel markers) with their guests, lets local businesses list themselves on those maps, and lets guests explore that content in the CheeHuu app. We may add, change, or remove features as the Services evolve.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create a charter or business account.
• Notify us promptly at captaincheehuu@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Your content

• You keep ownership of the content you add to the Services — map annotations, business listings, photos, descriptions, and notes (“Your Content”).
• You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute Your Content solely to operate the Services — for example, showing a charter map to guests who enter your join code, or showing a published business listing on the map.
• You are responsible for Your Content. It must be accurate to the best of your knowledge, must not infringe anyone’s rights, and must not be unlawful, deceptive, or harmful. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Safety and navigation disclaimer

CheeHuu maps, zones, routes, markers, and briefings are provided for general awareness and trip planning only. They are not navigational charts and must not be relied on for navigation. Content is created by charter companies, businesses, and community members; we do not verify its accuracy or completeness. Always use official charts, aids to navigation, and your own judgment. You are solely responsible for the safe operation of any vessel and for compliance with applicable maritime law.

Acceptable use

• No unauthorized access, scraping, or abuse of the Services.
• No impersonating another business or company, and no listings for businesses you are not authorized to represent.
• No use of the Services to send spam or unlawful communications.

Fees

Parts of the Services are free today, including during early access. If paid plans apply to your account we will communicate pricing clearly before you are charged. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.

Termination

You may stop using the Services or ask us to delete your account at any time by contacting captaincheehuu@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users, and we may discontinue the Services with reasonable notice.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CheeHuu and its owners, employees, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you — for example, by email or an in-product notice. Continuing to use the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
